    • Donate to the NBP from Your IRA Without Paying Taxes

Did you know that individuals who are 70½ years old or older can make qualified charitable distributions directly from an IRA to their favorite qualified charities?  The donated amount is excluded from taxable income, unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA, which are taxed as ordinary income.  The distribution must be made from the IRA directly to the qualified charity.  Please consider the Niguel Botanical Preserve in your charitable giving!  The NBP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, ID# 33-0045387.  (For more information, please consult your income tax advisor.)
