Our Gardens

The Niguel Botanical Preserve includes numerous distinct garden areas representing the five Mediterranean climate regions of the world.  The plants found in these gardens thrive in the cool wet winters and warm dry summers in areas of the world that have weather similar to that of California.  The plants in our gardens are excellent choices for both home gardens and commercial landscapes in California.  The use of these plants not only saves water, but can also create beautiful, sustainable environments for our homes and businesses.
