Frequently Asked Questions

The Preserve is located in Crown Valley Park at 29751 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Niguel, midway between the I-5 (Santa Ana Freeway) and Pacific Coast Highway.  Entrances to the Preserve are located just above the park’s outdoor amphitheater.

The Preserve is open from sunrise to sunset, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

The Preserve is open to the public, free of charge.  Individuals who wish to support the Preserve may become members of our non-profit organization. For more information, please visit our Membership page.

Yes!  Dogs are welcome at the Preserve.  As required by law, please keep them on a leash and stay on the designated trails and pick up their waste.

No wedding or private event rentals are allowed at this time.

We welcome photography in the Preserve.  All professional photographers are required to have a permit.  A professional photographer is someone who participates for gain or livelihood in the activity of taking photos or producing images.  Please see the specific requirements for photography in the Preserve at the link below, complete the form for each photo/film session and return it to the Administrative Secretary at the Crown Valley Community Center in Crown Valley Park.  https://www.cityoflagunaniguel.org/1484/Film-and-Photography-Permit

We request that photographers and guests stay out of our garden beds for their safety and the well-being of our plants.  Please stay on designated trails at all times.

Visitors may park in the free parking area located adjacent to the Community Center building.
