Earth Day 2015

Earth Day 2015

The Niguel Botanical Preserve and our Parks & Recreation department are hosting Earth Day Celebration on Saturday April 18th, 8:30 am, at Crown Valley Community Park.

Last year more than 300 volunteers planted, weeded, created walking paths, painted, mulched, did cleanup and just had fun during the three hour event.

This year, special attention will be paid to the Girl Scout region, the newly constructed entryway, planting and creek bed maintenance, throughout the many different climate regions, represented in The Preserve.

Plan to arrive early. Yes, the park is under construction, and there is plenty of parking. Carpools are recommended.

Community support is the backbone of The Preserve. We invite your business to join this 501-c-3 non-profit organization, and become a Friend of the Preserve.

We look forward to seeing you for he Earth Day Celebration on April 18th.

Go green and volunteer to plant, weed and clean up the Niguel Botanical Preserve! Celebrate Earth Day by giving back your time to improve the landscaping in our 18-acre preserve.

Volunteers should wear old clothing and bring gardening gloves. Community and corporate groups are encouraged to participate.

RSVP: (949) 425-1500 by Monday, April 13
